Used to go here all of the time. The last time I was their they gave me the wrong food and service was bad.

They're food is some of the best in the area.

Very fresh food it was not greasy. It tasted like they just made it seconds ago. Wontons were like my moms dumpling. I would recommend this place to anyone liking chinese food.

Always very friendly service. We’ve never been served anything that we didn’t like. Their pork fried rice is the best around. I would recommend Human East to anyone around.

Cosy. Very good food. Service staff is kind and gentle, understated style which is not the usual US friendliness. If you want great AUTHENTIC Chinese food, this is the place. The owners, cook and others know us when we come in. You get tea and Chinese pickled cabbage as soon as you sit down. From the appatizers, to the main dishes, everything is perfect and they will customize it to your liking.....

Good food for a good price, friendly amd fast service too! My favorite is their sweet and sour chicken with white rice and wonton soup.

Go Here every christmas eve with my family. Theyve been going since i was born + before. Its really good chinese food and the people here are so welcoming and kind. See you again soon!

Horrible customer service the woman I tried to place my order with was incredibly rude and impatient I was willing to place a large order for my entire family but not with her attitude. I told her to cancel my order and decided to go with Chef Chun instead. We got quality delicious food and great customer service at Chef Chun. Will never order from here again and will never recommend.

Menus were outdated, It smelled and the restrooms were very small. The food was suppose to be spicy and sweet but was bland and tangy. I don't like giving bad reviews but this place was not what I expected. On the positive side they were very polite and fast service. Sorry.....

Food is great for the price! Huge selection of food for EVERYONE, not just Chinese food. My 12 year old loves to go, so he can get exactly what he wants! Nice experience to get out for a night!

Hunan East is a great place to go for Chinese food for lunch or dinner. The lunches are my favorite. For a $5.75 you got a full-course meal tea, soup, main entree and dessert consisting of ice cream or sherbet It's a good deal for the price.

Easily the best Chinese food around. Love all the items we get and will drive 40 minutes out of my way to procure this deliciousness. I won’t go out to eat Chinese anywhere else. Places like these are a diamond in the rough. Further more the lunch special is insanely inexpensive for what you get- if only I lived closer!

Generous quantity of freshly chopped ingredients, cooked just right, flavorful, not bland. Currently full and very satisfied with our dinner. Thank you!

I have never reviewed an establishment only minutes after leaving, but here I am so dissatisfied with my visit that I feel the need to. Once we were finally seated, it took about 15 minutes for anyone to even come give us the tea and starters. During the wait, I noticed dust EVERYWHERE. my boyfriend had to stop me from cleaning off the small ledge on the wall next to me because he thought it would be rude. Once the food came it was a modest portion but good food. I would never dine in again, it’s not a clean place to eat and the service is relatively slow. The staff were all very friendly but it doesn’t make up for the dust and poor service. Not impressed and will not be going back.

Not exactly a polished experience but the food is delicious and the employees are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They remember previous customers, even their orders.And besides that DQ is right next door for dessert.

I love this place a lot. theres a different air. The kitcen is great. the service is effective and the stuff is courteous. The cost is decent. I warmly recommend.

The hot and sour soup was the worst ever. Nothing in it, just a bad tasting soup.

Hunan East is our favorite place when we feel like Chinese food. It always tastes very good and the food comes quickly. It has a cozy atmosphere and the staff is always friendly. Our favorite dishes are all soups, Mongolian beef (we add onions to it), mu shu pork and Thai chicken.

Awesome place, we all loved our dinners. Even came with Oolong Tea.

This place is so good. I had often driven past, but never tried until a friend recommended it. The best Asian cuisine I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic food. Definitely the best beef broccoli I've had from a takeout place. The beef was tender and not overcooked and chewy. The pork fried rice had nice pieces of pork and wasn't overly greasy. Will be back!

Good stuff! General tsos is good. Quality ingredients not like some of these other Chinese food joints.

Excellent food! What brought me back here was the memory of the sugar soaked cabbage from some 30 years ago when I was a little kid about 5 or 6, that they set out with the crunchy noodles and duck sauce. Yes they still have it! Big bowl of wanton soup, shrimp eggroll was sheer perfection and the main dish I had of sesame chicken = superb! You will be delighted, friendly, welcoming attentive staff. 5 out of 5 🌟

Best egg rolls ever. I had eggrolls from around 50 different Chinese places in my life and hands down best ever! Other dishes are also superior/fresh but damn this egg roll....

Best ever. They give you awesome noodles with the best plum sauce and hot mustard around along with a tasty cabbage salad. Plus delicious hot tea. And that’s before you order. Then their main entrees come with yummy soup, an awesome egg roll and the best friggin fried rice on earth. Included is a small ice cream and fortune cookie. It’s almost like a 7 course meal by the time you’re done. And it all tastes amazing. The atmosphere is nice too. All in all It’s an experience not just a meal. Kudos to them.

Classic Chinese restaurant. Gracious hosts, Linen table clothes & napkins' Crispy noodle w/ dipping sauces, pickled cabbage, & pot of Tea at every table seating to start. And, it only gets better from there. Tasty Food Reasonable Prices and Friendly Staff

Great, fresh food with excellent staff! This was out first visit and everything is delicious! The chef even went above and beyond and added his own home grown hot peppers to my husband's dish. The shrimp are very large, fresh and cooked perfectly. The Egg drop wonton mix soup is delish too! The crispy fried noodles are fresh and made daily. I read another review that the wonton soup is fabulous so I'm grabbing a quart to take home. ♥

The food is phenomenal. We have been going to see Stella and everyone else for decades. This is my favorite place to eat. You must go and try it. Ask for the chef surprise. Just let them cook for you.

Very satisfied with the meal I had tonight. Ordered pickup and had some sesame chicken, an eggroll and some wonton soup. The soup is outstanding and the best part of the meal. Everything else was fantastic too. Recommended. Only downside is that they don’t deliver.

A favorite restaurant for Chinese food takeout. Been going here for years. Go to Philly for excellent Asian food, but this place is a good local spot.
